Central Asian Partners works in partnership with the Jholdas Project (International Micro Enterprise Development, Inc.) to train, fund and support the launch of locally owned and operated micro-businesses within Kyrgyzstan
The Jholdas Project began in the small Central Asian republic of Kyrgyzstan in 1998. With an office in the capital city of Bishkek, the program has seen many successful businesses created in the country with dozens of families now able to support themselves and reach out to help others around them.
The Jholdas Project is an international humanitarian relief program designed to break the cycle of poverty and dependence in emerging nations. Our approach is to assist fledgling entrepreneurs in learning basic principles of business operation, to provide start-up capital in the form of micro-loans, and to give ongoing advice and consultation to ensure their success.
To date over 1000 people have been trained and nearly 60 businesses are in operation
